The Wide Leg Jeans I Was Actually Searching For

Why I Chose These Jeans

I’ve been on the search for the perfect wide leg jeans for a while now, and if you’ve tried on more than one pair, you probably know how frustrating that can be. I love the look of wide leg denim, but so many styles either feel stiff, pinch at the waist, or look great standing still and uncomfortable the moment you sit down.

These immediately felt different. The denim has stretch, the waist feels forgiving, and they don’t require constant adjusting throughout the day. They feel comfortable in a very real life way, which is exactly what I was hoping to find.

I also liked that they don’t feel overly trendy. The shape is clean and simple, which makes them easy to style with basics and layers and something I can see myself reaching for again and again.

Fit and Sizing Notes

Amazon recommended a size 6 for me, but once I tried them on, the size 4 fit better, especially through the waist and hips. The stretch in the denim makes them forgiving while still holding their shape.

For reference, I am 5'4.5" and about 135 pounds.

If you are between sizes or tend to size up for comfort, I’d suggest trying the smaller size first with these.

How I Styled It

For the video, I kept the outfit simple so the jeans could really stand out. I paired them with black boots from Amazon, a black cotton long sleeve top, and added a belt to define the waist. I finished the look with a jacket from Amazon to give the outfit a little more structure.

For accessories, I layered gold paperclip necklaces and added gold earrings. The gold tones add warmth and polish without making the outfit feel overdone.
